Fun at the Fort Harmony Celebration July 21, 2007

Spinning wool the pioneer way

2007 is the year Fort Harmony presented it's first celebration. It's a beginning - it's a start of what we want to be a yearly tradition. This is our way of giving recognition and thanks to our brave pioneer settlers who came 160 years ago.

One Act Play
"Winds of Harmony" - A one act play written by Edwina Jones especially for the Fort Harmony Celebration of 2007. A cast of actors, chorus members, and technical support made this an entertaining wrap-up for the Saturday celebration. The play depicted the dedication of those pioneers who settled the New Harmony Valley.

A big thanks to Lin's Market and much appreciation to the families that let us have their loved ones for this special event.

The Fort Harmony Historical Society is Grateful to all
who contributed to make Fort Harmony Days possible.
From pulling weeds to feeding those who attended.
There are always many hands and hours spent behind the scene.
