Davies James G. (Davies James George Welch pioneer. He was the son of Davis William Reese and Davies Rachel.
James was husband of Davis Polly. James Changed the spelling of his Welch name Davies and later was known as James George DAVIS. He and Polly are buried in Kanarraville.)

Davis William Reese (William Reese DAVIES. Bishop of Old Fort Harmony which included Grafton. His counselors were Henry BARNEY and John D. LEE. Husband of Davies Rachel - Rachel MORRIS DAVIES. Father of son 1-Davis John Rees his wife Davis Patience Sible GROVE, daughter 2-Davis Elizabeth her husbands a. Reese Jones WILLIAMS and b.John Jonson DAVIES, son 3-Davies James G. husband of Davis Polly - Polly WILLIAMS DAVIS.)

BISHOP William Reese DAVIES' son John Rees DAVIES was a counselor to his father along with Henry BARNEY. John D. LEE may have been at one time. There was some church discipline action taken by William REESE DAVIES when John D. LEE married an Indian women.

James George DAVIS was called to the Indian Mission 1854.
